2023 marks 20 years of same-sex marriage in Belgium. A liberty and basic human right that seems obvious in the Benelux, but this is not the case everywhere in Europe.
This Thinking Aloud session focuses on the positive aspects of legalising same-sex marriage on the individual well-being of the rainbow community, as the positive aspects it brings in society as a whole, and finally, how the positive experiences from the Benelux can inspire the rest of Europe.
