Group Moderator Training

About the training

The European Liberal Forum (ELF) implements capacity-building activities with the objective of contributing to the formation of future political leaders in the European Union. The activities aim to strengthen competences in the liberal movement by providing knowledge, skills and practical tools relevant to political organization, leadership, public engagement and debate.

In this context, the 1.5-day experiential moderation training is provided as a dedicated module focusing on facilitation and communication competences. The programme combines concise theoretical inputs with practical exercises and peer feedback and is intended to support participants in structuring and moderating panel discussions, engaging with speakers in a constructive manner, and communicating liberal narratives in a clear and accessible format. The training results in a Moderator Blueprint, which is intended for use by participants in subsequent events and public fora.
