Amidst escalating climate risks, ensuring the reliability and adaptability of electricity grids is more critical than ever. Geopolitical instability further underscores the need to strengthen Europe’s energy sovereignty. This is why we developed a publication which assessed the current state and future needs of these grids, identifying practical measures to bolster infrastructure resilience. The publication also analyzes how these regions can improve interoperability with neighboring countries and the wider EU grid with strategic preparedness for unforeseen crises and energy disruptions as a central theme.
