About the event

The event aims to gather organisational leaders and key employers from varying European parties and think tanks who already work or have the ambition to work on sustainability. Reflecting on the work done in the 3 previous conferences, this final event will focus on putting the words into action by continuing to learn from each other’s positive practices on making our work, organisations and engagement more sustainable. We have to unite in our fight against negative practices that contribute to climate change, carbon emissions and global warming, and as liberal political organisations continue serving as an example towards localised solutions that contribute to global positive changes.

As leaders of liberal organisations, you will leave this conference equipped with the practical knowledge of how to set up management systems in the context of your organisation, to be able to start gathering data related to sustainability, set up indicators for improvement and measure the progress achieved. Starting to practically implement sustainability practices will provide additional knowledge on the topic through learning by doing and further boost advocacy and policy credibility of our organisations towards becoming best-case examples of voluntary disclosure of carbon footprints and design of solutions towards mitigation and adaptation using existing ESG frameworks. Aside from the altruistic perspective of sustainability, such a move will also boost the PR and media presence of our organisations and attract younger generations of supporters and donors who genuinely care about these topics.
