For the fourth, and last episode of 2021 of LiberTea, the videocast series from ELF, Ricardo Silvestre (Movimento Liberal Social) welcomes Peter Laroy, the Director of Liberas Center, the reference point for the history of the liberal movement and the freedom ideal in all its facets in Belgium/Flanders. They talk about the freedom of the press, its roots in Belgium, its importance, and what is needed to protect and nourish it.

Liberas Center stores more than 10 kilometers of archives from associations/organisations, individuals and families related to the history of liberalism in the broadest sense of the word. They also have a library with more than 60.000 titles, the most important library in Flanders concerning works on the historical and current liberal movement. Liberas also holds a wide variety of visual material, film and audio and a collection of liberal newspapers, liberal weeklies and liberal party periodicals. The Center also holds collections, promotes online exibits and promotes research.
