18 Jun 2025 - 21 Jun 2025 | 9:30 am - 7:00 pm
Lisboa, Portugal
The program focuses on the liberal idea of equality, promoting individual freedom instead of collective grouping which has caused the alienation of many in protecting human rights.
Along with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation Europe, the project capitalises on the Europride (June 18 th to 21st) parade to bring a delegation of liberals and organise two forum discussions on the importance of diversity in representation with local liberal representatives for an audience of political activists and civil society actors within the framework of the Human Rights Conference. The program focuses on the liberal idea of equality, promoting individual freedom instead of collective grouping which has caused the alienation of many in protecting human rights.
We aim to have the delegation participate in the Human Rights conference, having a speaker in a panel, and self organising two events, one for the local community in Portuguese and in partnership with Iniciativa Liberal maybe on a controversial topic like online LGBT economy (onlyfans) and another one on the EC strategy for equality, for this one we would like to also invite our liberal European Commissioner for Equality Hadja Lahbib.
