Human Rights in the 21st Century

Today, human rights are challenged by a changing political landscape, the rise of populism, technological changes, geostrategic interests and climate change.  Some of these concerns include rights to privacy and freedom of expression in the Internet age, artificial intelligence, genetic engineering, migration patterns and much more.

Europe is in need of an honest debate on our freedoms in this new context and challenge we face. This is exactly what we will do. During the month of July 2021, we will discuss the most pressing human rights issues with top-experts with 8 blog entries and four podcasts.
