Reconciling European Strategic Autonomy with Transatlantic Relations: From TTC to a New Governance for the International Order
How can we reconcile European Strategic Autonomy and leadership aspirations with the importance of transatlantic relations for the global economy and the liberal international order? The future of transatlantic relations depends on creating new norms and institutions to govern EU-US cooperation across a variety of sectors. Considering the experience of the Trade and Technology Council (TTC), the expert Working Group will raise and address this question in order to kick start the discussion about the future EU-US cooperation.
