The Innovation Policy Lab, a joint initiative by the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Europe, which aims to inform and shape the policy direction during a pivotal moment in European Union history. As a new European Parliament and Commission take office, ELF and FNF Europe bring together an interdisciplinary array of policy experts, industry leaders, academics, and civil society representatives, to collaboratively construct a roadmap for innovation-driven reforms across multiple sectors.
The focus will be on two key themes for this third event: EU-China relations and Cohesion Policy. In small breakout rooms, participants will engage in policy labs to explore these topics, share diverse perspectives, and propose innovative solutions. The outcomes of these sessions will be synthesized into actionable recommendations for policymakers in the newly commenced legislative term.
Please note: This event is by invitation only.
The event will take place on 3-4 March 2025 in Brussels, Belgium. The programme starts with a dinner on 3 March and the policy labs will take place during the whole day on 4 March.
The event is organised by the European Liberal Forum. The event received financial support from the European Parliament. The sole liability remains with the organiser. The European Parliament is not responsible for any use that may be made of the information contained therein.
