The Future European Integration of Georgia: Staged Approach  

About the event  

In 2014, Georgia signed an Association Agreement with the EU, paving the way for closer economic ties and political cooperation. In 2023, the European Council granted Georgia candidate status, marking a significant step forward in its journey towards EU membership.  

This panel discussion will explore Georgia’s aspirations for EU integration, examine the challenges it faces along the way, and discuss the implications of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict on the enlargement process.
