The outcome of Poland’s latest presidential election has sent ripples through both domestic and European politics. With the victory of Karol Nawrocki, Poland now faces a period of intensified political polarization, potential stagnation or even reversal of liberal reforms, and growing tensions with the European Union.

We are very pleased to invite you to the 2025 Autumn ELF General Assembly, which will take place in Brussels, Belgium from the 24th until the 25th of September 2025.

ELF HUB at Freedom Games 2025 is a meeting of individuals open to new ideas. The strategic goal of the project is to reinforce European dialogue from the liberal perspective. All leading topics constitute the key areas where Europe has been struggling in respective EU member states or as a whole. As such, it is vital to start a debate on these issues, as only a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue may foster a way forward on an equal footing for all European states, regardless of geopolitical or historical implications. 

The Innovation Policy Lab (IPL), a joint initiative by the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Europe (FNF Europe), strives for new and innovative solutions for issues of our time. It is the space to think out of the box and come up with new solutions beyond the usual frameworks.

A session organised by the European Liberal Forum, with support of the Renew Europe Group, for MEPs and stakeholders to discuss the Common Agricultural Policy. This stakeholder dialogue will allow for liberals to define the key principles and the way forward for European funds post 2027. ELF’s new publication on a future CAP will provide a starting point for the discussion with a selection of experts. The event is under Chatham House rules and by invitation only.

The Young Changemakers Academy is a programme aiming to prepare young people to take an active part in their respective communities by shaping their future in given policy areas. The first event of the Young Changemakers Academy 2025 is organised by the European Liberal Forum (ELF) with the support of LYMEC (European Liberal Youth) and the Paddy Ashdown Forum (PAF). Europeans will not be healthy unless their mental life is taken seriously and services for its improvement are fully integrated into the whole system of state and society. Mental health cannot be an isolated island, it must be part of the design of the health system, education, urban planning, social security services, housing.

Union’s capacity to act independently in key areas such as security, defence, technology, and economic resilience, while also considering the broader implications for the EU’s global role in light of today’s complex challenges.
