ELF announces fellowship to support Ukrainian researchers

In light of Russia’s war against Ukraine, the European Liberal Forum reconfirms our commitment – and the commitment of the entire liberal family- for deeper integration of Ukraine in the EU frameworks. We are delighted to announce a Research Fellowship at ELF open exclusively for Ukrainian nationals who either reside in Ukraine or moved recently to a different country.

Given the unprecedented challenges and tectonic shifts in European security and integration policy arising each day as a result of the war, we feel it is important to provide well informed, quality research to decision-makers. Additionally, we recognise the difficult situation that many Ukrainian academics now find themselves in. Therefore, we are opening a resident fellowship in Brussels, Belgium, for a fellow researcher, sharing our goal to unite Europe and protect our liberal democracies.     

We foresee that the chosen candidate will conduct research focusing on either European political or economic integration of Ukraine and other Eastern Partnership countries.
