The Liberal Hack 2025 aims to challenge young liberals to explore the various aspects of EU Enlargement by exploring the challenges and opportunities from multiple perspectives through an engaging Hackathon format.

The current political environment presents both challenges and opportunities for progressive parties. Populist and radical-right movements have shown an ability to dominate the public conversation by offering simple narratives that resonate emotionally with voters. This workshop, aims to equip progressive movements with the tools and strategies needed to reclaim the narrative and engage citizens effectively. 

In the midst of rapid developments of technology, social media, social networks and Al have been used as a tool for affecting voters in the election campaigns.

After the relocation of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom Europe (FNF Europe) into the same building as the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe Party (ALDE), the European Liberal Forum (ELF), and LYMEC, it was decided to brand the premises as the Liberal House.  

All four organizations are planning a celebratory opening reception to mark this occasion. The aim of the event is to promote the new brand and present liberalism in Europe as a united front. The reception.

The Black Sea Security Conference is a two-day forum discussing the political and security environment in the Black Sea region. It seeks to bring more attention to the region’s geostrategic importance within the broader context of European security. As such, it provides a platform to discuss the role and interests of key regional and international actors, while emphasising the Black Sea’s role as a vital energy corridor and transit hub connecting Europe with the South Caucasus, Central Asia and beyond.

The Liberal Partnership Days 2025 are an ELF event co-organised with VVD International  and will be held on 20th–21st November 2025 at Sociëteit de Witte, The Hague, the Netherlands. This year the focus will be on Security and Resilient Democracy.

In 2025 the European Liberal Forum is presenting the fifth edition of the Liberal Awards, which celebrates the champions of liberal values and ideas and ensures their recognition and impact on the European level.

For too long, Europe has sat back and relied on the US. Now antidemocratic presidents as Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin are working together to crush the EU, while Europe’s right-wing populists are serving as their puppets and sabotage us from within. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022 marked a turning point. Gone is an 80-year period in which Western Europe could rely on the United States as a loyal partner in economic and social matters.
