Ahead of International Women’s Day, The Merode, the European Liberal Forum and the Alliance of Her co-organize an evening to talk about what it is like at the summit of power. We will hear from former and current leaders on how they have challenged the non–legal barriers for women in politics.
The book “Confronting the 10 traps of power” is a survival guide for women (and men) in power. The publication puts forward valuable lessons that can help in any leadership position. For this book, Katrien Van den broeck interviewed women in power, such as Margrethe Vestager, to give female politicians the role models they seek. While it empowers women in politics to maintain control and gracefully dodge the most challenging pitfalls of their political careers, the book equally serves men and leaders outside politics.
