EU Mentorship and Civic Platform for Young Liberal Activists are project implemented by Boris Divkovic Foundation from Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with European Liberal Forum based in Brussels.
EU Mentorship program is being implemented for 5 years and is dedicated to young liberal politicians from Western Balkans countries, Armenia and Georgia. Every year, participants are writing a publication or policy paper together with their mentors as a final product of the project. This year publication is made in a form of ‘’Letters to members of European parliament’’ where participants of the program had a chance to write directly to MEPs in European Parliament on a topic most relevant for their country, where chosen member of parliament can advocate and discuss more on certain topic. Therefore, we are trying to reach to all members of parliament our participants wrote to – to discuss more topics such as EU enlargement, human rights protection, violence against women, economic situation, green politics etc.
Civic Platform for Young Liberal activist’s project is implemented for four years now. In previous three years, young liberal activists from non-governmental organizations from Western Balkans had a chance to discuss topics such as youth involvement in politics, human rights, civic activism etc. This year, project outcome was research on involvement of liberal youth in Sweden, Spain, Poland and Croatia we would also like to present during our visit to Brussels.
This event is organised by the European Liberal Forum (ELF) and co-funded by the European Parliament. The views expressed herein are those of the speaker(s) alone. These views do not necessarily reflect those of the European Parliament and/or the European Liberal Forum.
