This roundtable will focus on the protection of the Western Balkans and Eastern Partnership countries and the role of European Union in the light of EU common security and defence policy as well as NATO support.
Due to the recent events of high rise of insecurity and lack of cooperation among the progressive forces of Western Balkans and rest of the Europe as well, it is of immense importance to continue to cherish good relationship between the liberals of the region and rest of the Europe, especially in the light of the recent war narratives in this region and the still on-going war in Ukraine.
This way, liberals would jointly echo the importance of regional cooperation, joint path towards the European Union and share the EU values we all cherish. It is the of the outmost importance to focus on the idea of how to protect the region and see the role of European Union in the light of EU common security and defence policy as well as NATO support.
