In this episode of the Liberal Europe Podcast – in Lockdown, Ricardo Silvestre (Movimento Liberal Social) talks with Edit Zgut, Hungarian political scientist at the Center for Europe at the University of Warsaw, and a DemocraCE and German Marshall Fund Fellow. They talk about some of the latest developments taking place in Eastern European countries under the control of leaders and governments who are becoming more and more authoritarian with each passing day, using the COVID-19 pandemic as a smokescreen for their illiberal actions.
This podcast is produced by the European Liberal Forum in collaboration with the Movimento Liberal Social with the financial support of the European Parliament. Neither the European Parliament nor the European Liberal Forum are responsible for the content or for any use that be made of it.
The podcast, as well as previous episodes, is available on Soundcloud, Apple Podcast, Stitcher and Spotify.
